Everyone’s favorite cartoon sponge and his Bikini Bottom sidekicks made a comeback last week with the premiere of The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run. The animated full-length film hit Fandango’s SVOD platforms last Thursday and made it to the No. 1 spot on both Vudu and FandangoNow’s weekly charts.
The Spongebob movie was originally set to hit theaters August 7th, of last year but got pushed to Spring 2021 and premiered on digital instead.
Other titles that made the weekly top 10 include Monster Hunter, the Milla Jovovich, Tony Jaa, and Ron Perlman – starring fantasy action thriller based on the video game series of the same name.
The Croods, Wonder Woman 1984, and The Mauritanian also made it into the past week’s top most popular SVOD titles.
