The Fire TV library of apps has been quickly growing to offer a range of apps giving users access to a ton of 100 percent free content; however, many of the apps are not video apps, so it can be difficult to find good cord cutting apps.

Biggest Trends:

News has continued to fall out of the top 10 with NBC News falling out of the top 10 this month. (It will be interesting to see if PBS jumps back into the top 10 as they just launched a free live stream of news in their PBS News app.) Also, PBS and PBS kids both fell out of the top 10 and marks the first time we have posted the top 10 free Fire TV apps without PBS or PBS Kids being listed.
