HBO NOW Makes it Easier For More Americans to Subscribe

HBO1HBO NOW is starting to rollout a long awaited feature that many of their competitors have had. Yes, they are finally offering gift cards.

You no longer need a credit card to buy HBO NOW, and you can even give the gift of contract-free streaming this Christmas. Though the real advantage is the ability to subscribe to HBO NOW without the need to have a credit card—something that an estimated 20% of Americans do not have according to CreditCards.com, which is a number that has been increasing since 2008.

HBO NOW gift cards are available in denominations of $25 and $50 at Walmart, Best Buy, and GameStop stores throughout the United States and will launch at H-E-B grocery stores in Texas later this month, just in time for TV fans to add an HBO NOW subscription to their holiday wish lists.
