HBO Max Orders Two New Reality TV Shows

If you love reality competition TV, listen up. WarnerMedia has announced they have ordered two non-scripted series for HBO Max from the creators of Queer Eye and The Amazing Race, respectively.

Legendary comes from Scout Productions, the team that brought us Queer Eye. The 10-episode dance series will have contestants competing in voguing, featuring over-the-top fashion and choreography.

The Greatest Space also comes from Scout Productions, along with New Media Collective, the company behind The Amazing Race. This one hour design competition show will follow professional interior designers around the world to exotic places as they transform empty rooms into amazing spaces for a shot at a cash prize.

“Unscripted programming will be an incredibly important component of our HBO Max originals, and this is just the beginning of our venture into this space,” said Sarah Aubrey, head of original content, HBO Max. “These two initial shows will transport audiences to underground worlds and take them on visually stunning, exotic adventures, equaled only by the compelling stories of each contestant.

HBO Max will reportedly launch in 2020. AT&T says we’ll learn more when the company hosts an event this fall.
