HBO is Celebrating ‘Game of Thrones’ 10th Anniversary All Month Long

It’s been 10 years since Game of Thrones entered our homes as one of the largest events in television history. HBO is not letting the month go by without celebrating one of its biggest series ahead of “House of the Dragon” which is set to begin production later this year.

HBO has dubbed this The Iron Anniversary, a month-long celebration that fans can engage in to commemorate the series. Beginning this week, HBO Max has a dedicated “Game of Thrones” Spotlight Page within the app where fans can experience a “treasure trove of content” including more than 150 videos of behind the scenes footage, cast interviews, clips, and more, plus hidden Easter eggs for die-hard fans.

On April 10, HBO is launching an all out marathon, or “MaraThrone,” airing every episode of season one on HBO2 beginning at 10:00 am ET, and challenging fans to binge all 73 episodes of the entire series over on HBO Max. The marathon will help raise money for select global charities with GoT cast members rallying fans to help contribute to Women for Women International, World Central Kitchen, Conservation International, International Rescue Committee (IRC), UNICEF, FilmAid International, SameYou, Royal Mencap Society, National Urban League and The Trevor Project.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products and its licensing partners have teamed up to create a variety of special-edition products kicking off the Iron Anniversary that include:
