Haystack News Will Launch Dedicated Pop-Up Channels for Major News Events in June

Haystack News is launching dedicated news streaming channels in June to give viewers 24/7 coverage of major news events happening this month.

Previously, Haystack News created dedicated channels for the election and the COVID-19 pandemic. The four new pop-up channels scheduled for June include:

Tulsa Race Massacre 100-Year Anniversary (June 1-4)
It’s been 100 years since one of the deadliest and most horrific acts of anti-Black violence in the nation’s history. Commemorate the centennial of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre with stories from the Tulsa community and live specials from national news partners.

Pride Month 2021 (June 7-30)
The LGBTQ community will mark Pride Month both in-person and virtually. See news coverage of how communities are celebrating inclusion and diversity in 2021.

Juneteenth (June 15-21)
Follow news coverage of Juneteenth, celebrating emancipation and the end of slavery in the United States. 

Derek Chauvin Sentencing (June 23-26)
Derek Chauvin is expected to be sentenced for the murder of George Floyd on June 25. Haystack News will carry the sentencing live, plus coverage and analysis both before and after Chauvin receives a sentence for his convictions on two counts of murder and one count of manslaughter.
