Haystack News Launches Channels for MLB, NFL, College Basketball News Coverage

Haystack News, an ad-supported streaming service for local, national, and world news coverage, announced today that it will launch dedicated channels for coverage of MLB, NFL, and college basketball.

“Sports fans who use Haystack News are often cord-cutters or cord-nevers without access to pricey national and regional sports channels,” said Daniel Barreto, Co-Founder and CEO of Haystack TV. “Haystack News will give a rich collection of timely coverage from the eyes and ears in each of the local markets for baseball, college basketball, and football fans.

With March Madness coming to an end, Haystack’s dedicated college basketball channel will be covering NCAA men’s and women’s basketball Final Four semifinals and NCAA championship games. The channel will have local news coverage leading up to the games and highlights from each matchup.

A dedicated MLB channel will give baseball fans coverage of Opening Day. Haystack will offer hometown coverage from each MLB market, along with highlights and analysis of the games.

Finally, the NFL channel will be covering football season from the beginning, starting with the three day 2021 NFL Draft. An NFL Draft News channel will be added on April 29 and will feature local news coverage of the event along with analysis from each of the 32 NFL markets.

Haystack News brings viewers news from partners including ABC News, the Associated Press, Bloomberg, CBSN, Cheddar, CNET, Euronews, GameSpot, Newsy and Yahoo Finance.
