Grubhub+ Members Can Get 5% Back on Eligible Orders

Grubhub+ is a loyalty program for take-out fanatics and is relaunching with some new ways to save. Since July 25th, Grubhub is adding a slew of new perks to the Plus membership suggesting members could average monthly savings of up to 20% on eligible orders.

Previously through Grubhub+, only deliveries were eligible for a credit back perk but now you can get 5% back on eligible pickup orders as well. The credits are good for 90 days after the most recent credit is issued, so you can keep your points if you only pick up dinner on your way home from work occasionally. Any order over $12 (not including taxes, tips, and fees) will still get free delivery.

Grubhub+ offers exclusive offers on 365,000 select restaurants and stores. The loyalty program will also lower service fees, although specific prices weren’t revealed when asked by TechCrunch. Instead, Grubhub said, “Members will feel significant savings.”

Additional benefits are coming soon. Grubhub will help you celebrate your “most joyous moments” with milestone rewards, month-long member savings, and a way to save on fuel. A Grubhub+ subscription also nets you a Gold Status through Shell’s Fuel Rewards program. You’ll get 5 cents of a gallon at Shell stations, helping you save even more by opting for pick up over delivery.

Members will still be able to pick a charity of their choice through Grubhub’s Donate the Change program. Grubhub matches all donations contributed by members. Donations go towards helping close the hunger gap, supporting independent family-owned restaurants, and more.

A subscription comes with a 30-day free trial and is automatically renewed for $9.99 per month. If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you’re eligible for a free year of Grubhub+ through your account. Just select “Activate free Grubhub”, create a Grubhub account, and sync your memberships.
