Google Will Now Help You Find What Service Has your Favorite Shows

Family Watching TV At Night Sitting On Sofa TogetherThis week Google rolled out a massive revamp of their Google Play Movies & TV app. Not only will it sell you movies and TV shows, but will now also show you what streaming services offer the movie or show you may be looking for.

For example; if you are wanting to watch Silicon Valley from HBO, it will not only show you episodes you are able to buy but also show you what episodes are available to watch on HBO NOW and with a single click.

Here is a video showing all the new features:

This new update makes the new Google Play Movies & TV app very similar to Apple’s TV app that helps you find all the shows and movies you subscribe to in a single place.

The new Google Play Movies & TV app supports many popular services such as Hulu and Amazon Prime, but still misses some like Netflix. (Apple also does not support Netflix.)

Here are all the services they currently support: Hulu and Amazon Prime Video, in addition, the app also pulls in content from ABC, CBS, FOX NOW, NBC, HBO NOW, HBO Go, Showtime, Showtime Anytime, Max Go, Starz, Disney Now, HGTV, BET Now, Comedy Central, A&E, Cooking Channel, Crackle, DIY Network, Food Network, History, Lifetime, MTV, The CW, Travel Channel, Tubi TV and VH1.

Google says this new update will roll out to Android phones and tablets in the United States over the next few weeks.
