getTV is Coming to fuboTV in December

Today Cord Cutters News has confirmed that fuboTV will be adding the channel getTV on December 4th, 2019. getTV is owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment giving them access to Sony’s back catalog of movies and TV shows. The channel has been available free over the air for some time but it’s streaming options have been very limited.

Here is how Sony describes getTV:

getTV is Sony’s flagship General Entertainment network offering Adults 25-54 popular, familiar tv and movies with enduring appeal. Viewers enjoy and return regularly to watch our curated line up of modern classics and more contemporary content. We are TV that they can count on.

With getTV you will find shows like All In The Family, Cher, Hondo, The Temptations, Walker Texas Ranger, and more.

fuboTV has not officially commented on getTV coming to the service but Sony already has a notice on the getTV website about the channel coming to fuboTV on December 4th, 2019.

Hopefully, this is the start of more sub-channels like getTV coming to streaming services like fuboTV. As of right now many popular OTA TV channels like MeTV can be very hard to find if you live in an area that does not have a strong OTA reception. Recently, more networks like Comet, Buzzr, Charge, and more have started offering free streaming options. Hopefully, this trend continues so cord cutters can enjoy even more movies and TV shows from networks like getTV.
