Get More from YouTube TV and PlayStation Vue with Philo

Philo is a budget friendly content streaming service, offering many channels that are hard to find on other services. Recently, Philo announced that it would allow users to use their login info to sign into Scripps network apps. What the service is still lacking is live news and sports. That might just make Philo the perfect add-on subscription, for an additional $16-20/month.

YouTube TV and Playstation Vue

These two major streaming services are popular with cord cutters because they offer a good variety of channels, and make it possible to watch live TV without a cable contract. Cord cutters can have access to their favorite shows and local channels with either service. The apps themselves are also easy to use and available on most devices.

YouTube TV +Philo

YouTube TV offers over 65 channels, including sports and news networks. In addition to the regular channels, several add-ons are available for an extra monthly fee. At $40/month, subscribing isn’t cheap, but many users find the cost well worth it to get the channels they’re looking for without being locked into a cable contract.

YouTube TV has a good selection of channels, covering sports, news, and entertainment. What the service is missing is channels from Discovery and A&E, which happen to be channels offered by Philo. PlayStation Vue seems to have a package and channel selection that fits the needs of many viewers. However, the service is lacking a few channels that can be supplemented by Philo, including the following:
