Today, Paramount+ is sharing a first look at the new season of Landman. The show will be coming back exclusively to Paramount+ on Sunday, November 16, 2025.
Landman is set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas and is a modern-day tale of fortune-seeking in the world of oil rigs. Based on the notable 11-part podcast “Boomtown” from Imperative Entertainment and Texas Monthly, the series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.
Billy Bob Thornton stars as crisis executive Tommy Norris. In Season One, Jon Hamm played oil tycoon Monty Miller, but will not be back for Season Two. However, Demi Moore is set to come back as his wife, Cami. Michelle Randolph, as Ainsley, and Ali Larter, as mom Angela, were spotted around Fort Worth, filming college visit scenes in the spring.
The Taylor Sheridan series had the most watched global premiere and finale of any series in Paramount+ history for Season 1.
