Sadly no specific date in April was announced but we now have a better idea of when the shows final season will start.
HBO does have multiple projects set in the “Game of Thrones” universe currently in development including a prequel set a thousand years before the events shown in Game of Thrones. For now no dates have been set for when the new “Game of Thrones” spinoffs will come to HBO.
