G4 Network is Coming Back

G4, the tech and gaming focused network, is on its way back to your TV screen. During Comic-Con@Home today, IGN shared an official teaser trailer, ending with the tagline “We never stopped playing.” The video ends with “2021” on the screen, giving us hope that the fan favorite channel will be making its comeback next year.

The video has been posted online with a message to fans to look out for Easter Eggs in the video.

G4 launched in 2002 with a nonstop week-long Pong marathon, which the teaser trailer gave a nod to, and shut down at the end of 2014. During it’s time on the air, G4 hosted shows including Attack of the ShowScreen Savers, and X-Play.

For now, we don’t know if the network will return in its original form or if it will make its way to a streaming service. As a company that was most recently under the NBCUniversal umbrella, there’s a chance that G4 could find a home on Peacock. We’ll be back with details as learn more. In the meantime, enjoy a quick game on the newly redesigned G4 website
