fuboTV vs Hulu with Live: Which is the Better Deal? We Take a Look…

Plans and Pricing

fuboTV doesn’t have multiple packages to choose from but does have a standard plan with a lengthy list of add-ons to customize your viewing experience. fuboTV costs $54.99/month after a 7 day free trial.

Hulu is now just $5.99/month for the basic version with ads. The cost of Hulu with Live TV is now set at $44.99/month after a 7 day free trial.

Channel and Price Comparison

At $44.99 with 93 channels, your first month with fuboTV comes in at around 48 cents per channel. After the first month, you’ll pay $54.99/month or 59 cents per channel.

With a subscription to Hulu with Live TV, you’ll get 67 channels for $44.99, making the cost 67 cents per channel.

Channel Lineups

fuboTV may be a more sports centered service, but with 93 channels and a variety of add-on options, there’s content for everyone in the family with this lineup. These are the channels you’ll get with a fuboTV subscription, including the Viacom channels that were recently added.

Hulu with Live TV covers the basics and has some more niche channels for both kids and adults to enjoy. Here’s what you’ll get with Hulu with Live TV:

Simultaneous Viewing

With a fuboTV account, you can stream on up to 2 devices simultaneously. If you upgrade with the Family Share Add-On, you’ll be able to watch on up to 3 devices at once.

Hulu with Live TV allows you to watch on up to 2 screens at the same time. Hulu has reduced the prices of their live TV add-ons, so now you can upgrade to Unlimited Screens for $9.99/month. With the Unlimited Screens add-on, you can also watch on up to 3 screens at once while on the go.

Cloud DVR

Each fuboTV subscription includes 30 hours of Cloud DVR storage. Recordings are saved indefinitely. There’s also an option to upgrade to Cloud DVR Plus, giving you 500 hours of Cloud DVR storage for an additional $9.99/month.

With Hulu with Live TV, you’ll get 50 hours of Cloud DVR storage. Again, with the recently reduced prices of live TV add-ons, you can upgrade to Enhanced Cloud DVR for $9.99/month. With that add-on, you’ll get 200 hours of storage, along with the ability to record multiple shows at once, fast forward, and watch recorded content anywhere.
