fuboTV Set a New Record For Most Unique Viewers Yesterday

Today fuboTV announced that they had nearly 170K unique viewers yesterday October 28th, 2018. This was a 21% jump over its previous all-time high on September 23rd, 2018. According to fuboTV, there also was nearly 100K concurrent streams on fuboTV at 1 PM Eastern as NFL games kicked off and El Clásico was underway. That was an 18% jump over their previous all-time high during the 2018 World Cup. fuboTV was also the only live TV streaming service to offer El Clásico in 4K.

This all comes a few weeks after fuboTV announced that they have more than doubled in size over the last year with 250,000 paid subscribers in September 2018 vs 100,000 in September 2017.

Fubo TV reportedly added 30,000 subscribers in the 3rd quarter of 2018. With that jump, they say their average run rate jumped to $102 million in September 2018 vs just $28 million in September 2017. fuboTV has also seen time spent on the service per users jump by 364%.

This all comes as fuboTV has announced several new features including 4K beta streaming. fuboTV is hoping by streaming events like the 2018 NLCS MLB Playoffs in 4K on both FS1 and FOX. fuboTV is the first live TV streaming services in the United States to offer 4K streaming. Well, others have announced plans for 4K none of them have launched a 4K streaming services.

For now fuboTV well still far behind Sling TV and DIRECTV NOW seems to have found a market for their live TV streaming service.
