fuboTV is Going to Be Adding More Sports Content & is Offering $15 in Credits to Select Subscribers

Today fuboTV reached out to customers who recently lost their local FOX affiliates with an offer of $15 in credits to make up for the loss of their FOX affiliate. In that email fuboTV also announced that in the coming weeks they will be adding more sports content. Exactly what sports content is being added is unknown but fuboTV says it will be “more top sports content.”

Here is the message fuboTV sent affected customers:

As of January 1, 2020, some local FOX TV stations are no longer available on fuboTV. That’s because Sinclair Broadcast Group, the company that owns the stations will no longer allow us to broadcast them.

We didn’t want nor did we expect this change, but we do want to make it up to you. So we applied a $5 discount to your next 3 payments, for a total of $15 in savings.

Stay tuned because in the coming weeks we will announce the addition of even more top sports content to fuboTV.

fuboTV has long pushed that they are a sports-focused service. Now we will have to wait and see exactly how they plan to expand their sports lineup as they try to win over new and current subscribers.
