fuboTV is now charging a Regional Sports Fee for new subscribers in the Houston area who subscribe to a fuboTV plan that includes AT&T Sportsnet Southwest. Those in the area will pay a $5 fee on top of their subscription price.

Existing customers won’t have to pay the additional fee. fuboTV says only accounts created after August 3, 2020 and existing subscribers who move to the Houston area after August 3, 2020 will be subject to the fee. The streaming service has no plans to start charging existing customers the $5 fee, unless they move into the Houston area from another market.

According to the fuboTV website, there are no plans to add a Regional Sports Fee in other markets.

fuboTV subscriptions start at $60 per month for the Standard plan, coming to $65 with the additional fee, making it the least expensive streaming option for AT&T Sportsnet Southwest. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest is also available on AT&T TV Now’s Max package for $80 per month.
