fuboTV Adds New DVR Search Options

Today fuboTV announced that they have updated their “My Video” section on their website. Now when you look for your DVR recordings you will have an updated search option to sort the recordings by Sports, Shows, and Movies. This will allow you to more easily find the content you want when you want. Recently fuboTV has slowly been updating their apps with new features to make it easier for their subscribers to find their content.

This all comes at the same time fuboTV added NBCSN to the lineup of channels that support 4K HDR. Now there is one important note. Not all content on Fox, FS1, and NBCSN is shot in 4K. Only select games are aired in 4K HDR on these networks.

fuboTV also recently rolled out a new user interface on the Apple TV. This new user interface focuses on ‘dynamic discovery according to a statement sent to Cord Cutters News. Now on the Apple TV, you will be able to browse with a live preview of each channel. As you hover over the channel, you will get a live look at what is being aired on that channel. This brings back channel surfing without the need to load each channel.

According to fuboTV users who used a previous test version of a live preview feature (which users had to open the channel guide to access) consumed 1 hour more content than they had before they used the live preview.
