Fubo subscribers still can’t watch sports, news, or primetime shows on NBC channels, but will be getting a $15 credit on their accounts to make up for the missing channels.
In an email sent this afternoon, Fubo told subscribers that a credit will automatically be applied to accounts on the next billing cycle on or after December 1, as promised by the service “if NBCU programming remains off of Fubo for an extended period.”
The following channels went dark on Fubo on November 21: NBC local affiliates, Telemundo, NBC Sports RSNs, American Crimes, Bravo, Bravo Vault, Caso Cerrado, CNBC, CNBC World, Cozi, Dateline 24/7, E! Entertainment Television, E! Keeping Up, Golf Channel, GolfPass, LX Home, Million Dollar Listing Vault, MSNBC, NBC NOW, NBC Sports NOW, NBC Universo, True CRMZ, New England Cable News, Noticias Telemundo Ahora, Oxygen True Crime, Oxygen True Crime Archives, Real Housewives Vault, SNL Vault, Telemundo Accion, Telemundo al Dia, The Golf Channel , Today All Day, Universal Movies, and USA Network.
Following the blackout, NBCUniversal made a statement that claimed that Fubo was offered the same carriage deal that other distributors have already agreed to. Fubo followed up this morning by claiming that NBCUniversal is treating the service unfairly and trying to prevent Fubo from offering subscribers the sports-first packages they want.
The $15 credit likely means that the two still aren’t close to resolving the issue and getting the channels back on the platform.
In the meantime, subscribers can watch NBCU content on Peacock. With a Premium Plus subscription, you’ll get a live feed of your local NBC station.
