Fubo May Soon Lose The RSN SportsNet New York SNY

Today the regional sports network (RSN) SNY today warned subscribers that Fubo may soon drop them. It appears a contract renewal is near and must not be going well for SNY to warn subscribers about a possible blackout coming soon.

SportsNet New York, also known as SNY, is the home SN for the MLB team, the New York Mets. SNY also offers a selection of college sports and even Major League Rugby games on its network. The network is a joint partnership between Comcast and Spectrum. Now, though, it seems that it is in deep talks with Fubo over contract renewals.

Warnings like this are becoming more common as a growing number of channels fight with providers to get more money. It seems this time its Fubo’s turn o fight with a RSN over the cost of the service.

SNY did not say when the deadline for a possible blackout was. Its unknown how much longer the two sides have to find a deal before a possible blackout.
