Fubo Drops Its Free Trial to 24 Hours, But Can You Cancel & Not Be Charged?

Last week, the live TV streaming service Fubo announced that it had dropped its free trial to just 24 hours. According to Fubo, it will now be adjusting its free trial depending on the time of the year. This raised many concerns as Fubo has a policy that says you need to give them 24-hour notice to cancel your service to avoid being charged for your next month. This means you can’t cancel one minute before your next bill, hoping not to be charged.

Several of our readers have pointed out this new rule and raised a concern asking if they could try out Fubo and not be charged if they cancel within the first 24 hours. We reached out to Fubo with this question, and Fubo confirmed to Cord Cutters News that as long as you cancel during your 24-hour free trial, you will not be charged.

This move is not new for Fubo or other streaming services. YouTube TV often changes the length of its free trial, and Sling TV has even at times not offered a free trial. This is often done to help prevent people from using the free trial to watch a major event without paying. Fubo says they will regularly adjust their free trial, much like how YouTube TV changes their free trial.

So if you have been worried about getting billed but wanted to test out Fubo, the good news is you can do so without fear.
