Are you ready for one more channel to join the Frndly TV lineup? This morning, Aspire TV appeared in the Frndly TV channel lineup, but when you try to watch it, all you get is a 404 error. It seems that the Aspire TV channel logo may have gone live a bit early before Frndly TV was ready for it. This is not new, as many streaming services have this happen when new content is added. (Thanks to the Cord Cutters News readers who pointed this out.)
The logo showing up in the channel list makes it look Aspire TV will soon be live maybe later today. Aspire TV is owned by the same owners as upTV and up Faith & Family two channels already on Frndly TV.
Cord Cutters News has reached out to Frndly TV for comment and will update our story as we learn more.
This comes as last week Frndly TV added two new channels with the addition of MeTV Toons and Dabl to its lineup. MeTV Toons is a new 24/7 network dedicated to classic cartoons. Dabl airs a lot of classic UPN shows like he Parkers, Sister Sister, Girlfriends, and Moesha. With a few exceptions for shows like Animal Rescue and Wild Times at the San Diego Zoo, most of the schedule after the 29th of December is focused on programs like Sister Sister and Moesha.
This comes as recently Frndly TV announced it will be adding new features to its DVR. Now you will be able to quickly see only new episodes. This new feature will allow you to quickly sort through your DVR to find only new programs and not the old ones.
