Pluto TV had a birthday this week marking 6 years of delivering free streaming content. Pluto TV has been consistently adding and rotating channels since being purchased by Viacom earlier this year. Right now Pluto TV has 242 channels from movie channels to news channels, and everything in between.

After a big year in 2019 seeing growth by over 75% and counting 22 million active users as of December, Pluto rolled out a new look in March 2020 along with a rebranding campaign, “Drop in. It’s Free.” The updates included a new linear UX, channel favoriting, and a watch list to improve the overall experience for viewers.

PlutoTV has a large collection of curated channels, offering sports, movies, news, and entertainment. Now owned by ViacomCBS, the free streaming service has even more content than ever, with new curated and branded channels popping up regularly.
