Free Service Haystack TV Signs Multiyear Deal with Hubbard to Add More Local News

haystack tv logoHaystack, a free, ad-supported streaming service that focuses on local news, has signed a new multiyear deal with Hubbard Broadcasting. The deal will bring local TV news content from Hubbard’s six local TV network affiliates to Haystack’s streaming platforms.

“New platforms, such as Haystack TV, are extending the reach of our TV properties and offering new revenue streams for the quality broadcast journalism found on our Hubbard local network TV affiliates,” said Kurt Christopher, General Manager of Digital, Hubbard Broadcast Television Group. “Haystack TV helps extend the reach of our brands and bring new utility to the award-winning work of our local TV news broadcasters in Minnesota, New Mexico and New York.”

With the addition of these stations, Haystack now offers over 300 local broadcasters and news providers on its free platform, covering over 90% of major metropolitan areas in the US.
