Fox News is Now Free to Stream During Coronavirus Crisis

Fox Corp. has just announced that it will make its television properties free to stream during the coronavirus crisis.

Fox News will be available to stream without cable, the company announced today, in partnership with pay TV providers.

Fox News will now be available for free on FoxNews.com, the Fox News app, Fox.com and the Fox Now app. Each of the 29 Fox-owned television stations will be available to stream through Fox.com and the Fox Now app.

“Our highest duty as a company is to provide the individuals and communities we serve with information and analysis to help educate and protect them during dangerous times,” stated Fox Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch. “That is why we are today making Fox News and Fox Television stations available to everyone in the country.”

Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott and Fox TV stations chief Jack Abernethy added in a joint statement: “We also want to acknowledge and thank our distribution partners, who played an important role in helping make these valuable news sources available more broadly.”
