In 2023, Fox launched the Fox Local app, giving users in select cities, giving users 24/7 streaming coverage for news, top stories, local and national coverage. Now, the company is officially sunsetting the individual apps for local news coverage and migrating that coverage to the Fox Local App.
Fox 35 Orlando is one of the stations that will have its app shut down this spring, with livestreams and articles moving to Fox Local. Coverage will also still be available on each individual station’s website. The description of the app on the Fox 35 Orlando website says:
We’ve introduced a new way for you to stay informed! The FOX LOCAL app lets you follow the LOCAL news that matters most to you. Get the latest updates, breaking news, and videos from FOX 35 Orlando and any FOX LOCAL station—whenever and wherever you need them. To provide the best experience, the old FOX 35 Orlando app will no longer be available come Spring 2025.
