Now new companies are hoping to take over the market Sling TV and PlayStation Vue have cornered.
The following are a few services that plan to take on live TV streaming:
Official details are still thin but it sounds as though Hulu plans to offer multiple packages similar to how PlayStation Vue works, and their live TV streaming service will cost $29.99, $39.99, or $44.99 depending on the package you choose.
All the big networks have signed up and there will be a DVR; however, unlike the PlayStation Vue DVR you will be limited to 40 hours of recording at any one time.
Traditional Hulu will not be included in the Hulu Live packages, although you may get a discount if you subscribe to both Hulu and Hulu Live.

DirecTV NOW
DirecTV is taking on their long-time competitor Dish. AT&T now owns DirecTV, and they announced that their new streaming service DirecTV NOW will be the main focus of their TV offerings.
They promise 100+ channels and an aggressive price but also say there will be NO slim packages in their service unlike Sling TV.

Google has their hand in a lot of different products and services. Now they seem to be looking at taking on TV. They plan to use YouTube as the service to offer live channels, and they recently announced that CBS has already signed up.
Google already has an IPTV service for Google fiber customers, so the move to YouTube should be easier.
Vidgo
In early 2016 Vidgo was announced as a new live TV service coming this year. They promise you will be able to build your own programing packages. For now little is known about them but they are still active and promising to come to market.
