For the First Time NFL Games Will Stream for FREE on All Mobile Devices

The imaginary stadium is modelled and rendered. For years now, Verizon has had an exclusive deal to stream NFL games on mobile devices. This meant services like Hulu, Sling TV, and FuboTV had to blackout NFL games on mobile devices. Now you will be able to stream NFL games on your mobile device no matter what carrier you have.

Starting today all NFL games including Sunday games on FOX and CBS, NBC Sunday Night, Monday Night, and Thursday Night games will stream online. (Note: This means only the games in your local market and national games.)

This is the first year there will be a truly free option as the NFL app and Yahoo Sports will stream in-market games and national games for free. To access the game for free, download the Yahoo Sports app on Android and iOS. (Note: I couldn’t find any information on if the Roku Yahoo Sports Channel, for example, would also carry the games for free.)

Thursday Night NFL games aired on FOX starting in week four will stream for free on Twitch and to Amazon Prime members through the Amazon Prime Video apps.
