Flea Markets Are a Great Cord Cutting Resource That Cord Cutters Should Take Advantage Of

Been thinking about buying some old movies? Or upset that your favorite TV show is leaving Netflix? You may want to see if your local flea market has what you are looking for.

Many cord cutters overlook DVDs and even VHS tapes to watch older content they may be paying every month to watch. When you think about it, if you are paying Netflix $12 a month every month to watch the same show over and over again it could be cheaper to buy the show on Amazon or iTunes or to buy the DVD.

One of the best ways to get movies and TV shows on DVD or VHS is a local flea market. It may be a hunt, but my family has been able to buy a huge collection of Disney movies on VHS for between $2 and $3 each on average. I have also picked up all five seasons of Babylon 5 on DVD for just $20 total.

The benefit of services like Amazon, iTunes, and even eBay is you will likely find what you are looking for. Flea markets may take some work, but you can also find huge deals. Spending an hour at a flea market could result in huge finds of great movies and TV shows.
