First Look at The TCL’s New 8K Roku TV 8-Series (Also Available in 4K)

At CES, Cord Cutters News was able to get a first look at the 2019 8-Series from TCL. This new line of TVs will come in 4K and 8K options. The version we saw was not 100% finalized and minor changes may be made. When the TV is released, we plan to do a full hands-on review.

Here is your first look at the TCL Roku TV 8-Series 8K Roku TV:

Details are still thin on the new 8-Series Roku TVs. These new TVs will offer 8K resolution in screen sizes of 75″ and larger. Exactly how large they will go is unknown.

They will also offer a powerful upscaling performance to convert 4K and full HD resolution content that delivers a new sense of depth and clarity to an 8K TV. The new 8-Series line will also support the latest HDMI standards allowing these 8K TV models to be ready for the next stage of the 8K content evolution as new devices come to market that are ready to deliver 8K content.

Pricing on the new 8-Series is unknown. The new 75″ 4K 6-Series TV are already available for pre-order from Best Buy for $1,799 and will be coming to other retailers in the weeks to come. TCL also announced their new Alto Sound Bars will be coming to stores this spring. The new 8K TCL TVs will come out later this year.

Cord Cutters News plans to get a review unit of the new 8K TVs from TCL. Keep an eye out for more updates as we learn more.
