FilmStruck The Stream Service for Die-Hard Movie Enthusiasts is Now on Roku

Love movies? Love classic movies? We have a service for you…

Turner Classic Movies, also known as TCM, and the Criterion Collection late last year released a streaming service called FilmStruck. This new service offers a huge collection of “art house, indie, foreign, and cult films.” Now for the first time you can find FilmStruck on Roku devices. (The new FilmStruck Roku channel will work on Roku Players and Roku TVs.)

The service starts at $6.99 a month for a  FilmStruck subscription that will give you access to the Turner Classic Movies collection. Want to add the Criterion Collection that will cost you $10.99 a month. Or you can pay a once a year $99 payment to get the Filmstruck & The Criterion Channel collections a $30 savings.

Turner Classic Movies and the Criterion Collection seem to be betting that people will be willing to ditch Netflix as their movie collection shrinks in favor of their movie-focused service. The question is will people pay $6.99 for classic movies.

You can get a free 14-day free trial of FilmStruck so you can try out the service and see if it is a good fit for them.
