Sports fans have a new way to watch their local teams after the FanDuel Sports Networks officially launched on Prime Video. With a click of a button, Amazon Prime subscribers can access 30 NBA, NHL, and MLB teams across 16 FanDuel Sports Networks branded Regional Sports Networks (RSNs).
“We’re always looking for new and innovative ways to serve our teams and viewers,” said Eric Ratchman, President of Distribution and Business Development for Main Street Sports Group. “This relationship with Prime Video gives fans another way to watch their favorite local teams and underscores the essential role our distribution partners play in driving our future growth. We’re excited to offer a seamless and convenient way to stay in the game.”
The partnership with Amazon was announced late last year while FanDuel Sports Networks was navigating bankruptcy. Once the company emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy, it renegotiated and refinanced contracts with its teams and continued focusing on the evolving economics of streaming.
How to Add FanDuel Sports Network Channels to Prime Video
Fans who live in-market can now stream all non-nationally exclusive games without blackouts. A Prime Video subscription is required to watch the FanDuel Sports Network channel on the platform. The FanDuel Sports Network channel add-on starts at $19.99 per month after a 7-day free trial.
Here’s how to sign up on your web browser and mobile device:
Using a web browser:
- Visit amazon.com/channels.
- Search for or select FanDuel Sports Network
- Select a subscription plan
- Complete checkout process
On your device:

At this time, single-game purchases are not available via Prime Video; however, NBA and NHL fans have the option to do so directly through FanDuel Sports Network’s app or website. MLB games are not available for single-game purchases as of today.
FanDuel Sports Network is hoping to score big with Prime Video. The CEO of FanDuel Sports Networks’ parent company Main Street Sports Group David Preschlack said he “thinks it will be by far the most efficient way to acquire subscribers on a direct basis,” in an interview with CNBC last month.
For Prime Video, the launch marks another expansion of its growing portfolio of sports. NBA RSN games join the NFL, MLB, NWSL, NASCAR, WNBA, ONE Championship, Premier Boxing Championship, and others on the platform. With NBA League Pass already available as an add-on channel, and national NBA games streaming on Prime Video next season, this move makes it the go-to destination for NBA viewers.
