Yes, Facebook Watch is a free feature and all you’ll need to use it is a Facebook account.
Essentially, Watch is Facebook’s answer to YouTube. You’ll find a wide variety of videos from cooking lessons to beauty tutorials to reality shows. Facebook encourages users to interact with the videos with a follow button, the ability to share videos on personal profiles, and including an active comments section on each video
To watch content on Facebook Watch, you can login to either the Facebook website or the Facebook app on your phone or tablet. Look for the Watch tab which will take you to a page with recommended content, content from brands and personalities that you follow, and the ability to search for content across the platform.
So, what content will you find? Like YouTube, there are plenty of viral videos and user uploaded clips. On the sidebar, you’ll see brands and people you follow. Click on any of those names to see content uploaded specifically for the Facebook Watch audience. Finally, Watch has a section of Facebook Originals. Some notable titles include Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk; Bear Gryll’s: Face the Wild; Sorry for Your Loss, a drama series starring Elizabeth Olson; and Limetown, a crime drama starring Jessica Biel.
