Recently Verizon and T-Mobile have been making big news by offering cheap home internet through their wireless 5G network. Now AT&T is launching a 5G home internet service called AT&T Internet Air to compete with T-Mobile and Verizon’s 5G service.

This new AT&T Internet Air is a wireless home internet service that runs off of the AT&T network. The question now is will this be a good fit for you? Today we are going to break down everything we know about AT&T Internet Air.

What will AT&T’s 5G Home Internet Service cost?

This new service costs $55 a month, and the router will come free with the service.

So what speeds should you expect?

Here is what AT&T has said:

As of March 2023, Internet Air delivers typical download speeds between 40-140 Mbps. These speeds are based off of current internal data and are very dependent upon the connection the All-Fi Hub can achieve with the AT&T wireless network. We will continue to update these speeds as we monitor results. See att.com/broadbandinfo for more information.

Will AT&T Air Internet have data caps?

According to ATT&T Internet Air has no data caps, unlike current AT&T DSL plans. This means AT&T Internet Air customers can stream all the videos they want without worrying about their data cap.

Can I test out this service?

Yes, AT&T is offering a seven day worry free test. If you don’t like the service cancel the service in the first seven days and return all equipment within 21 days to receive a full refund.

Do I need a WiFi router?

With your new AT&T Internet Air Service, you will get a free All-Fi Hub that will act as your modem and Wi-Fi router.
