Everybody Loves Raymond Reunion Gets an Encore on CBS and Paramount+

Fans of Everybody Loves Raymond are getting more time with one of television’s most beloved families. CBS has scheduled Part 2 of the show’s 30th Anniversary Reunion Special, expanding on the original event with additional material that never made it to air.

The hourlong follow-up, titled Everybody Loves Raymond: 30th Anniversary Reunion Special: Part 2, is set to premiere December 22 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. It will also be available to stream on Paramount+, giving cord cutters another way to catch the nostalgia-filled special without a cable subscription. The news was originally reported by Deadline.

What’s New in Part 2 of the Reunion

Like the first installment, Part 2 is hosted by Ray Romano and series creator Phil Rosenthal. This new chapter digs deeper into the reunion taping, featuring previously unseen footage recorded in front of a live audience during production of the original anniversary special.

Viewers can expect more moments with the reunited cast on the recreated Raymond living room set, including Romano, Patricia Heaton, Brad Garrett, Monica Horan, and twins Madylin and Sullivan Sweeten. In addition to cast interactions, the special includes unaired interviews with various members of the team, along with classic clips and outtakes from the series that weren’t included the first time around.

Romano and Rosenthal also filmed new wraparound segments specifically for Part 2, reflecting on their experience returning to the set and revisiting moments that had to be cut due to time constraints.

Why CBS Is Bringing the Cast Back Again

The decision to produce a second installment follows the strong performance of the original reunion special, which aired in late November. That broadcast reached more than 10 million viewers across broadcast and streaming platforms, signaling continued interest in the long-running family sitcom decades after its finale.

Produced by Fulwell Entertainment, Part 2 features the same executive production team behind the original reunion. For cord cutters, the availability on Paramount+ makes it easy to tune in without traditional cable or CBS, just in time for a holiday-season dose of classic sitcom comfort.
