ESPN+ Will Have Streaming Rights to PGA Tour

Golf Ball closeupThe PGA Tour is finalizing its TV rights deal and, according to sources for AP News, ESPN has won the rights for streaming. This would make PGA Tour content available to stream on ESPN+.

As AP News points out, ESPN+ previously aired PGA Tour coverage, allowing subscribers to stream parts of the event in 2018 after parent company Disney purchased BAMTech. After that, NBC Sports Gold took rights to the 2019 PGA Tour. Once finalized, this deal would bring the event back to ESPN+.

Recently, Pluto TV made a deal that included adding a dedicated PGA Tour channel to the free streaming service, with live coverage and behind the scenes coverage of the event. With the PGA TOUR channel on Pluto TV you will find 150 hours of live programming, including 22 events of Featured Holes coverage commencing with the Farmers Insurance Open through the conclusion of the FedExCup Playoffs at the TOUR Championship.

The PGA also made a deal to bring daily highlights to Facebook Watch.
