ESPN+ to Stream 13 WNBA Games in 2025

The 2025 WNBA season is a few months away and it is returning to ESPN for the 29th consecutive year. The league and the network have announced its 2025 lineup of games with coverage across ESPN platforms, including ABC, ESPN+, and for the second consecutive season Disney+. ESPN platforms join league broadcast partner Prime Video, which will stream 21 WNBA games during the 2025 season.

For the upcoming season, ESPN will be home to up to 55 games, with ESPN+ simulstreaming all 13 games that air on ABC. ESPN’s coverage will begin with a showdown between the two-time WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces visiting the reigning and defending champion New York Liberty at 1:00 PM ET on Saturday, May 17. That game will feature the Liberty raising their 2024 championship banner and ring ceremony in front of their home crowd and it will stream on ABC, ESPN+, and Disney+, each is also available on Hulu + Live TV. The late game will directly follow, with the Chicago Sky taking on the Indiana Fever at 3:00 PM in the late game.

Highlights of ESPN’s 2025 WNBA coverage include blockbuster matchups, the biggest stars in the sport, the 2025 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game, and WNBA STARRY® 3-Point Contest, and the Kia WNBA Skills Challenge. WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever lead all teams with 10 games on ESPN platforms, with the Liberty and Aces following with nine and eight games, respectively.
