Some AAC games will still air on ESPN, ESPN 2, and ESPNU like they have in the past; however, many of the other games will be moving to ESPN+.
Content that in the past aired on CBS will for now continue as renewal talks with CBS have not started yet. All other content has a deal with ESPN and the new ESPN+.
Disney has been working hard to add more content to ESPN+ recently. This includes a new partnership with the Big 12. ESPN says this new deal with the Big 12 will mean the following events will be coming to ESPN+:
- An exclusive regular-season football game each season from each participating school, as well as any spring football games;
- All regular season and exhibition men’s basketball games not distributed on ESPN’s linear networks (expected to be upwards of 75 games per year);
- Women’s basketball and other conference sports such as volleyball, soccer, wrestling, softball, and baseball;
- Select Big 12 Conference championship events and original content.
