Disney+ Will Include Most DVD and Blu Ray Extras

Now that viewers in The Netherlands are getting the chance to try out Disney+ for free for a limited time, we’re getting more information about the content and features available on the platform.

One Reddit user who has been trying out the streaming service shared that in addition to an extensive collection of content, Disney+ also as most of the extras included with DVDs and Blurays. Extra features include bloopers, behind the scenes looks at how the movies were made, and storyboards for classic Disney animations. Now we have known that Disney will be including these extras on the majority of Disney+ content. (Assuming there is any extra content available.)

Another Reddit user commented that while many of the features are included, one is missing – director commentary.

Disney+ won’t officially launch until November 12th, 2019. It will cost $6.99 a month or $69.99 a year. While those of us outside of The Netherlands will have to wait a bit longer, Disney is likely using this free trial to prepare the streaming service for the full launch in November.
