Disney+ Will Be Available on Fire TV in the UK

Amazon has announced that Disney+ will be available on Fire TV devices when the service launches in the UK on March 24th.

Fire TV users will be able to use Alexa and their Alexa Voice Remote included with Fire TVs, Fire TV Cubes with built-in Alexa, or paired Echo devices to search with voice commands. Disney+ can be launched with the command “Alexa, open Disney+.” Users can also search for specific content just by asking Alexa. For example, saying “Alexa, watch The Mandalorian,” will open Disney+ and launch the platform’s most popular original series.

With Disney+ and Fire TV devices, users can also download movies, shows, and shorts to watch on the go with compatible Fire TV tablets.

Disney+ subscribers in the UK will have access to Disney’s massive content library, with shows, movies, and more from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, National Geographic, and Star Wars. The service also has original content including The Mandalorian, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, and The World According to Jeff Goldblum.

Fire TV and Fire Tablet customers will be able to sign up for Disney+ right on their devices for £5.99/€6.99 per month or £59.99/€69.99 for an annual subscription.
