Disney+ Set to Launch in Over 40 New Countries This Year

Disney+ is making big moves in 2022. The streamer announced Wednesday that it is expanding its global reach by launching in 42 new countries and 11 territories this summer. Disney+ is currently available in 18 countries, so this new launch will bring the count to 60 countries in total.

Disney+ first launched on Nov. 19, 2019 in the U.S., Canada and the Netherlands. Since then, it has made its mark as an essential streaming service for households with children and adults alike.

No official launch dates by country or pricing has been revealed as of yet.
