Update: We reached out to Disney to ask about the missing channel and a spokesperson for the company confirmed that the channel has not been removed, though some users may not find it in their Live hub. They recommending closing out of the app and restarting to see if the channel comes back on Streams row.
Some Disney+ subscribers have been disappointed to find that The Simpsons channel has been removed from the streaming service.
The channel, featuring a 24/7 stream of Simpsons episodes, was added in March 2025 and was available only with Disney+ Premium, the ad-free plan.
When the channel was added, Gabe Lewis, SVP of Programming & Content Curation, Disney+ said “Streams on Disney+ have been a fantastic go-to experience for subscribers looking to sit back and relax with their favorite shows and movies, and we look forward to evolving the user experience and expanding the offering with more Streams, to more subscribers, later this year.”
Along with The Simpsons, Disney+ added other 24/7 channels for Premium subscribers, including Hits & Heroes for action titles, Throwbacks for nostalgic content, and Real Life with titles focused on real life stories. The channels are part of Streams on Disney+, curated channels offering continuous viewing, with content from the Disney+ on-demand library.
In addition to the streaming channel, subscribers can still find all 36 seasons, “The Simpsons Movie,” more than ten shorts, and other exclusive episodes on the platform. Along with organizing by season, viewers will also find curated collections of episodes like Favorite Mr. Burns & Smithers Episodes, Treehouse of Horror Episodes, and The Simpsons Predict the Future.
