Disney+ Moves Up European Launch Date & Announces Pricing

Lady and the TrampDisney+ has moved the launch date for the service in Europe up by one week. The streaming service will now be available in some markets on March 24. Originally, the launch date for Europe was March 31. The company has not given a reason for the change yet.

In addition to the new date, Disney has also confirmed that the price of a Disney+ subscription in Europe will be £5.99/€6.99 ($8) per month, or £59.99/€69.99 per year.

On March 24, Disney+ will be available in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Switzerland. Other markets will be added this summer, according to a report from Deadline.

Last week, we reported that the Disney+ app was the top downloaded app in the United States and has already taken the number 9 spot for worldwide downloads from the Apple App Store, although the app didn’t make the list overall worldwide downloads from all sources. .
