Disney+ is Releasing Sing Along Versions of Some Titles Beginning with ‘Encanto’ March 18

If you’ve still got “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” stuck on repeat in your head after hearing it for the first time four months ago, you’re not alone. And Disney is going above and beyond to make sure all the bops from its smash hit Encanto aren’t soon forgotten.

Disney+ has announced it will be releasing a Sing-Along version of Encanto this week, with the interactive film hitting the platform Friday, March 18. Now viewers will be able to sing along to the on-screen lyrics and belt their hearts out to songs like “Family Madrigal,”Surface Pressure,” and more (bonus points if you can mimic Luisa’s TikTok-inspired moves). It’s giving old-school Disney sing-along VHS tapes for those who know.

Disney reports that on average, streamers have watched Encanto five times since its release, with the title accumulating over 180 million re-watches globally. The songs, written by Lin Manuel Miranda, have become staples in just a short time, with “Brunosurpassing “Let it Go” from Disney’s Frozen on the Billboard charts.

In addition to Encanto, Disney+ plans to release Sing-Along versions to more titles in the future, including “Frozen,” “Frozen 2,” “Beauty and the Beast (1991)” and Disney’s live-action “Beauty and the Beast (2017).”

You can stream the Encanto Sing-Along version on March 18, available on Disney+.
