Disney+ is getting in on the social distancing way of watching movies with a Drive-In Movie Festival. The event runs October 5-12 and kicks off with a special screening of the streamer’s new original The Right Stuff. A new movie will be shown each night until October 12 when the festival wraps up with the premiere of the Disney+ Original Clouds. All screenings will be held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.
The event is free and most nights are open to the public, with the exceptions of the world premieres happening October 5 and October 12, but tickets are extremely limited. Ticket registration begins today, Monday, September 28 at 10 a.m. PT at www.disneyplus.com/drive-in and is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Saturday, October 10 – “The Sound of Music Sing-A-Long” 55th Anniversary Screening (Open to the public. Register beginning September 28)
Sunday, October 11 – “Captain Marvel” Celebrating International Day of the Girl (Open to the public. Register beginning September 28)

In compliance with State and County requirements, the Disney+ Drive-In Festival will follow safety guidelines to protect all guests and staff:
- Guests must remain in their vehicles for the duration of the program.
- No sitting outside of the vehicle will be allowed.
- Congregating of any type is prohibited.
- Social distancing of at least 6 feet will be enforced at all times.
- Face coverings must be worn when interacting with attendants, and when exiting vehicles to visit the restrooms
