Appropriately titled, At Home With Olaf is set to debut on Disney+ this week to the relief of quarantined parents everywhere. Josh Gad returns as the voice of the snowman, with his dialogue recorded completely at home.
“My friends Jennifer Lee & Hyrum Osmond called me up one day & asked me if I would be able 2 record some dialogue & sounds as Olaf from home,” Gad tweeted. “These little shorts done from home by Hyrum & the Disney Animation team are so charming & hopefully provide a smile during these scary times.”
The animators and sound engineers at Walt Disney Animation Studios also took working from home to the next level, creating the series exclusively remotely. At least there’s light in the tunnel to know no matter how long this coronavirus crisis lasts, Disney will keep finding ways to bring new content to keep us entertained while social distancing.
