The series will take place 6 months after where Monsters, Inc. left off. In Monsters at Work, the factory is now using children’s laughter to power the city of Monstropolis. A new monster, Tylor Tuskmon, will be introduced and the story will follow Tylor while he follows in the footsteps of Mike and Sully on the Laugh Floor.
Billy Crystal and John Goodman will be back to voice their characters Mike and Sully. Listen for some more of the originals including John Ratzenberger as Yeti, Jennifer Tilly as Celia, and Bob Peterson as Roz.
The originals will be joined by a new group of voices that you might recognize. Superstore’s Ben Feldman will be the voice of Tylor Tuskmon. Kelly Marie Tran will voice Tylor’s friend Val Little. Henry Winkler will be the voice of Fritz, the scatterbrained boss on the floor. Lucas Neff will voice Duncan the plumber. More characters include Alanna Ubach as Cutter, Stephen Stanton as Smitty and Needleman, and Aisha Tyler as Millie Tuskmon.
The series will be executive produced by Disney animation veteran Bobs Gannaway. Kat Good and Rob Gibbs will direct the Disney Television Animation production with Ferrell Barron as producer.
