DIRECTV’s annual Thanksgiving Free Preview kicked off today and will run through November 26. Subscribers can watch premium entertainment from channels like Showtime, Starz, MGM+, Cinemax, and Movies Extra Pack.
DIRECTV via satellite and DIRECTV via internet and DIRECTV STREAM can watch the preview content on channels 515-573. For U-verse TV subscribers, the preview will run on channels 832-944 or 1832-1942 in HD.
After the preview, subscribers can choose to add on the channels to their DIRECTV cable package. If you subscribe to DIRECTV’s Entertainment or Ultimate packages, you can get the premium channels free for three months. After the trial, they’ll auto-renew — Showtime costs $11.99 a month, $11 a month for Starz and Cinemax respectively, $6 a month for MGM+, and $15.99 for Max. It’s also worth noting that Max isn’t included in the free preview.
