DirecTV is Working on a NFL Sunday Ticket Subscription Streaming Service

Sports FansWant the NFL Sunday Ticket from DirecTV but don’t want to pay for DirecTV? We have good news for you…

We have received several reports from readers that DirecTV is sending out surveys to customers asking about the possibility of a streaming-only version of DirecTV’s NFL Sunday Ticket.

According to the survey, you would be able to get the NFL Sunday Ticket without needing a DirecTV subscription.

The NFL Sunday Ticket allows subscribers to watch every out-of-market game every Sunday for four payments of $49.99. If you want to add the DirecTV Red Zone and Fantasy Zone channels the package costs $74.99 a month for four months.

At this time, you must be a DirecTV subscriber, or a student, to get the service. There have been rumors that the new DirecTV streaming service would include the Sunday Ticket; however, this survey seems to be separate from the DirecTV NOW streaming service that is coming out in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The survey we are talking about is a standalone streaming service for the DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket.

Hopefully AT&T follows through and makes the NFL Sunday Ticket available to non-DirecTV customers; however, looking at the timing and the type of survey it is likely that we won’t see an NFL Sunday Ticket standalone streaming until next year. It is a possibility that they may try to rush something out because they already have the DirecTV NOW streaming service in the works.
